Swarna Bharat Party
Swarna Bharat Party is the product of the work of Sanjeev Sabhlok and Anil Sharma over the course of nearly a decade.
Sanjeev Sabhlok proposed the need for a new liberal political party for India in February 1998 as part of the India Policy Institute. He took life membership of Sharad Joshi’s Swatantra Bharat Party in 2004 but left in late 2005. He later helped form Swarna Bharat Party in 2013 (registered in 2014) with a key role played by Anil Sharma of Bhadohi district.
Swatantra Bharat Party will work very closely with Swarna Bharat Party in the near future with the aim of exploring options to merge.
