Sanjeev Sabhlok joined the IAS in 1982 and resigned in January 2001 in order to pursue his goal of helping establish a major liberal party in India. He initially worked with Sharad Joshi’s Swatantra Bharat Paksha and later helped Anil Sharma start Swarna Bharat Party.
